Movie Date

Tim really wanted to go to the movies.

And he picked Gran Torino.

I've only seen previews on TV...hadn't heard or read reviews.

So I agreed to go.

I am SO glad he picked that movie.

There is so much about that movie that I loved.

I'm not great at writing reviews, so I'll just say...

GO SEE IT!

First Park Visit of 2009

Monday Jan. 12th was SO warm! 60 degrees!

So it was Tim's last day off of work so we took

the girls to the park down from our house.

Nina was SO excited to go!

A Swingin' Good Time!

GiGi and BopBop bought this swing for Stella.
She just sleeeeeps and sleeeeeps in it.

She even tried climbing in it once...silly Nina.

While at the hospital, my friend (and her family)

sent us some flowers (the ones in the front).

Thanks Shasta and family! They are STILL beautiful!

THEN Thursday afternoon we received the ones in the back...

from our California friends...Nina and her family!

It also came with the balloon! Thank you!

Baby Shower!

My REALLY good friend Tammie threw me a baby shower today!

I had SO MUCH FUN!!!!

We played 2 awesome games...

Nina and I opened lots of presents.

We ate awesome snacks...

and my cousin made an AMAZING cake!

I was so busy TALKING...so Tammie took pics with her camera.

Hopefully I'll get those soon. But this is what I have on mine.

My "Resolutions"...

I have decided to post a few "resolutions"...
Even though I probably won't keep any of them...HAHAHA
(Not listed in any particular order)

Start AND complete our wedding scrapbook.

SAVE MONEY...NOT SPEND!


Look into and possibly start some classes.

Spend more QUALITY time with family.

Organize my scrap area and KEEP it that way.

STOP biting my fingernails!

Lemme tell ya somethin...

I have the BEST husband in the WORLD!

He bought me (nina and himself) tickets to the NYE

Americans vs. Chiefs hockey game.

VERY thoughtful gift...seriously!

(he got me more tickets for another Ams-Chiefs game for Feb!)

Anyways...It had to have been the BEST game I have EVER been to!

We won...there were LOTS of fights...having Tim and Nina there..

JUST AWESOME!
