Movie Date

Tim really wanted to go to the movies.

And he picked Gran Torino.

I've only seen previews on TV...hadn't heard or read reviews.

So I agreed to go.

I am SO glad he picked that movie.

There is so much about that movie that I loved.

I'm not great at writing reviews, so I'll just say...

GO SEE IT!

You won't regret it!

First Park Visit of 2009

Monday Jan. 12th was SO warm! 60 degrees!

So it was Tim's last day off of work so we took

the girls to the park down from our house.

Nina was SO excited to go!

Stella...of course...could have cared less...hahaha

doesn't she look so warm and cozy?!

A Swingin' Good Time!

GiGi and BopBop bought this swing for Stella.
She just sleeeeeps and sleeeeeps in it.

That's what they are best for ;)!

Isn't she so tiny in there?!

Of course Nina wanted to be in a picture...

Hi Baby Stella!

We often find Nina trying to play with the swing...

without Stella in it.

She even tried climbing in it once...silly Nina.

Happy Stuff!

While at the hospital, my friend (and her family)

sent us some flowers (the ones in the front).

Thanks Shasta and family! They are STILL beautiful!

THEN Thursday afternoon we received the ones in the back...

from our California friends...Nina and her family!

It also came with the balloon! Thank you!

How did you girls know that daisies are my favorite?!

Sleepy Girls!

I have pictures of Stella's first bath at home...

but they are pretty visual...so I won't post them.

But here is a picture Tim got of Stella and I napping.

Great Grandma and Stella

Mamie Rose London meets Stella Rose Leingang.

Great Grandma was SO happy when

she heard Stella's middle name.

Stella is the first relative to be named after her.

Our Big Helper!

Nina wasn't so sure about Stella in the hospital...

took her a while to warm up to her.

These pictures were taken Thursday (1/8/09)

after she got home from preschool.

She was SO excited to be able to help!

Baby Shower!

My REALLY good friend Tammie threw me a baby shower today!

I had SO MUCH FUN!!!!

We played 2 awesome games...

Nina and I opened lots of presents.

We ate awesome snacks...

and my cousin made an AMAZING cake!

I was so busy TALKING...so Tammie took pics with her camera.

Hopefully I'll get those soon. But this is what I have on mine.

ME! 38 weeks and 2 days!

All the stuff from the shower!
9 packages of diapers...plus the diapers from the "cake"...

Tammie made this AWESOME diaper cake for me!
